Hey Element Church! I am so excited for this Sunday and our incredible opportunity to not only celebrate and highlight the global work of Compassion International, but also to have Wess Stafford with us to share a message from God’s Word. You have three opportunities to be here at 9 & 11 AM or 6 PM.
Compassion is a child sponsorship organization that exists to help release children from poverty in Jesus name. They work exclusively with indigenous churches on the ground in the poorest parts of the world, providing through sponsorships everything a child needs for their education, spiritual discipleship, medical needs and more.
Wess grew up on the mission field in Africa. After working for 36 years in Compassion, 20 of them as their president, he now travels the globe as a world renown and highly sought after communicator. The fact that we get to have Wess share with us is one of the greatest privileges we’ve been given in the history of our church.
My wife and I met Wess on a Compassion trip to Colombia last year. He is one of the most kind, caring, compassionate and inspirational people I’ve ever met. I cannot wait for him to be here and for you to get a chance to hear from him and meet him. You won’t want to miss it.
