Here is the third prayer we are praying at Element Church from our sermon series called, “What I’m praying for.”
Lord, you have charged us to keep your commands carefully. Oh, that our actions would consistently reflect your decrees. May we seek only Your standard of Scripture in our lives. May Your grace be the only source of our strength, and may we daily surrender ourselves & our sins to the sacrifice Jesus made for us. We ask, Oh Lord, for integrity and purity to define our lives as Your children.
I preached from Titus 2:1-15 and talked about three priorities we need to add to our lives in our pursuit of purity.
- We need to make the standard of Scripture our ultimate pursuit.
- We need to make the grace of Jesus our one source of strength.
- We need the sacrifice of Jesus to be the one thing we daily surrender to.
