This coming Sunday, April 1st, is Easter Sunday and we would love to see you celebrate with us at Element Church. On Easter Sunday, we will be starting a new sermon series called “Who is Jesus?” and we’re going to be taking four weeks to answer that question by walking through the 23rd Psalm.
Psalm 23 is about a Good Shepherd. Jesus tells us that, “I Am the Good Shepherd.” I don’t know about you, but I don’t even know what a shepherd does. What does that even mean? Psalm 23 might be the most famous chapter in all the Bible. It’s read at many funerals, it’s quoted by people in times of need and it’s been the text on many paintings, bookmarks, and pictures throughout the years.
Psalm 23 is more than just a reading though. It’s more than a decoration. I believe in Psalm 23 we get a perfect picture of who Jesus actually is! In this series, not only will we see the making of a GREAT Shepherd, but we’re going to learn the answer to the question, “Who is Jesus?” as well. That answer changes everything.
