Hey Element Church! Meet Eiron, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Eiron was nominated by Andy, our Associate Pastor, who said this: “Eiron serves on staff at Element Church, but volunteers her time outside of her job as a Small Group Leader. Eiron’s group has been around for several years now and has had a MASSIVE impact on our community. Specifically, her group has led the way in serving children in need right here in Cheyenne. Every Spring Break, her group bands together to provide food bags for kids who normally receive food through their schools while they are out of school during Spring Break. I’m so incredibly encouraged to see a small group meet a tangible need in our community.”
Eiron has attended Element Church for 6 years. She began serving in hospitality but through the years has served in many different capacities. She has been the group leader of the “All For One” group for 5 years. They serve homeless or struggling children in Laramie County School district. Her husband has served with the OneReach homeless ministry for 5 years and attends most of the outreach events. Both of her children have served as well in numerous outreach events, Fusion ministries and on Production Team. Eiron is the Outreach Pastor’s assistant here at Element and loves boating, hiking, fishing, camping and anything outdoors in the summertime.
When asked why she serves at Element, she said, “I serve at Element Church because I have been called. I serve to show people the love of Jesus who are currently in a place that I once was. When I was at my lowest, someone came alongside me and showed me there was a way out. I want to repay the favor as many times as I can before I’m called home!”
Thank you so much for all your leadership Eiron. The impact that the All For One group has in our community is amazing. What you do MATTERS!
