Hey Element Church! Meet Anna, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Anna was nominated by Kat, our Small Groups Assistant who said this: “Anna is an incredible example of servant-leadership. Her ability to show honor to everyone, from our guests to volunteers is admirable. If you happen to cross paths with Anna, you can’t help but feel like you belong! She currently leads Families Anonymous in addition to serving on our Hospitality Team and participates in various other Outreach efforts.”
Anna has been attending Element for 7 years with her husband Pat, her daughter and son-in-law, Abbi and TJ and their precious children, Charlie & Eli. She is retired from LCSD1 as a substitute teacher. She enjoys being outside, gardening, hiking, biking, kayaking with her daughter, camping and snowshoeing as well as reading, crafts, travel, and being with friends and family.
When asked why she serves at Element Church, Anna said, “I serve at Element Church because I have seen the transformation in my life brought about because of Element Church, it’s members, and the incredible things God has done through this church. I felt welcomed at Element the first time I walked through the doors and I want to make sure others feel just as welcomed. Volunteering at Element is a humbling, satisfying, loving experience and I get way more out of serving than I put into it. I honestly cannot imagine someone not serving. Volunteering has introduced me to such fantastic people and has expanded my church “family”. Thank you Element Church!!”
Anna, we are so blessed to have you and your family as a part of our home! Thank you for all you do. You are making a lasting impact through your service to God. What you do MATTERS!
