Today is the day! Element Church is officially opening PlayCity, a free indoor playground for families in Cheyenne, WY.
Local parks, outdoor recreation, and nearby activities provide plenty of activity for children during the late spring and summer months, but there is currently not a free solution in Cheyenne for parents to keep their kids active and engaged during the winter months.
Because of this, the mission of PlayCity is to provide a FREE, safe, climate controlled indoor play environment for children and their families that is open year-round. Whether it’s cold and windy or hot and dry, this indoor playground provides a place for kids to stay active and engaged all year long.
The playground itself is a 57 foot long, 22 foot wide, and over 10 feet high. It provides a secure toddler-only area and three slides that are positioned on a giant playground filled with all sorts of activities for kids 12 and under. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit, relax, and enjoy your coffee or beverage while your children safely play on the playground.
Initial operating hours are Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
