This coming Sunday, December 11th, is our annual year end offering called the “So That” offering here at Element Church. The So That offering is born out of John 3:16 which tells us, “For God so loved the world He gave His only Son Jesus, so that anyone who believes in Him shall have eternal life.” We give for the same reasons as well. Because we love God we give…so that people can hear about, put their faith in and be impacted by Jesus through His Church.

Each year during the Christmas season we receive our annual year end offering called the “So That” offering. I believe there is not a better time give than at Christmas when we celebrate the greatest, most generous gift that God ever gave to us, His Son Jesus.
Our vision here at Element Church is to be a life giving movement of people having such an impact that if we were gone our communities would miss us. We are all about seeing people experience life in Jesus, be a movement of people for Jesus and impact people in the name of Jesus. In 2017, one of the things we are launching as a part of our long term vision is an initiative called “I Heart Wyoming”.
Through I Heart Wyoming we are looking to partner with and financially resource other existing churches in our state to help them as they serve their communities in tangible ways. Our goal is to have $100,000 in our 2017 budget to literally give away to other churches as they impact their community in the name of Jesus.
We have already allocated $50,000 from our outreach budget in 2017, and are praying for at least $50,000 to come in through the So That offering. On top of I Heart Wyoming, we are also purchasing 250 pairs of shoes that will be delivered by our missions team this coming Spring to children who live in extreme poverty in Cochabamba, Bolivia.
This offering is above and beyond our regular giving, and I’m challenging all of us to simply pray: “God, what do you want to give through me.” As with our regular giving there are multiple ways to give. You can give in the service with cash or check or in the giving boxes at church. You can give online HERE or you can text “Element” to 77977 to use our mobile giving option. The So That giving option is already open and will remain open through December 31st. Our motto about giving here at Element is this: We can’t do everything but we can all do something, and if we all do something we’ll end up accomplishing everything.
