That one Truth has been revolutionary in my life. We often allow ourselves to be defined by what we believe about ourselves, what other people say or have said about us, or the lies our enemy (satan) whispers to us. That’s such a dangerous place to be, but it is also such an easy place to get to.
For us to live above the lies, we have to believe the Truth about who God says we are. This is why declarations of Truth have become such a vital part of my life.
Every one of my declarations is rooted in Scripture. This one is rooted in Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Here’s the reality, we are horribly insignificant when compared to God but unimaginably important because of God. Let that sink in. Compared to God, we are horribly insignificant. Still, because of God and what He says about us, we are more important than we can possibly imagine.
That’s why I have to say and believe, “I am who God says I am!” No other voice matters. None! Not even my own.
I am who God says I am! Say it! (Sing it if you have to) Believe it! Live it!
