Hey Element Church! This is Matt, and he is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week.
Matt was nominated by our Creative Arts Pastor, Jared Bayless, who said this: “Matt has been a great addition to the worship team at Element. He has such a positive attitude and a great sense of humor, and he’s a very talented musician as well. He has really been growing in his leadership and it’s been awesome to see how God has blessed him and his wife so far and excited to see what’s in store for them! We are thankful they are serving at Element!”
Matt and his wife have been attending Element for 7 months. He works at Starbucks and enjoys retro games and TV shows, but his passion is music.
When asked why he serves at Element, Matt said, “I serve at Element because I can actually make a difference with the skills I have. I love the staff and appreciate the opportunity to serve. I’ve never served at a church for very long with any of the talents God gave me so I feel like I’m finally doing what I am supposed to do.”
Matt, the feeling is mutual. You are a blessing to have on the team. So glad God brought you and your wife to Cheyenne. What you do MATTERS!
