Hey Element Church! Meet Andrea, this week’s Volunteer Of The Week. Andrea is nominated by Eiron one of our Pastoral Assistants who said this: Andrea is a big part of “All For One” women’s group. She has a servant’s heart and is always willing to help at a moments notice. Andrea has helped serve homeless and struggling children throughout Cheyenne with coats, boots, food, free clothing, and many other requests. Andrea served on the Outreach team last year during the Back 2 School Bash running a crew of volunteers at the inflatables. Children love her and so she also serves every other Sunday in our Ekidz. Our community and Church are lucky to have a volunteer such as Andrea. Thank you Andrea for all you do here at Element Church; What you do matters!
Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week
Andrea has been attending Element for 3 years with her husband Sean and daughter Ivy. She said, “we were searching for a new church for quite a while. We only heard excellent reviews about Element and finally decided to try. Everything about Element is so inviting. Right down to the come as you are. We are jeans and t-shirt kind of people and love that we fit right in.” Ivy also serves in e Kids cuddling and playing with babies and toddlers.
Andrea is self employed as an in-home Caregiver/Personal Assistant and enjoys gardening, making lifelike dolls, crocheting, sewing or pretty much anything crafty. When asked why she serves at Element, she said, “I serve at Element to share the gifts God has giving me. He has given me a great life and I love serving, giving, lending a hand, bringing Glory to God. I love playing with the 2 and 3 yr olds in Ekidz and teaching them about Jesus. They are so eager to learn and bring me so much joy. I am also a part of an out reach group, All for One, here where we serve the homeless children in Cheyenne. Serving gives me a sense of purpose. I don’t feel that I am the one to be recognized here, I am only doing the work as the Lord has commanded. If not for him, I would not be.”
