Hey Element Church! Meet Kevin, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Kevin was nominated by Jared, our Creative Arts Pastor, who said: “Kevin has grown immensely as a leader. He always has such a calm and comforting presence both on stage and off and we are a stronger team because of him. Kevin works so hard to improve himself and rises to every challenge with humility and excitement. We are so thankful for him and his family and for all they do for our church!”
Kevin and his family have attended Element since October, 2007. “We have seen the growth and energy of this church continue to thrive here in Cheyenne and we love how Element has shown so many people life in Christ.” Kevin is a financial advisor and enjoys theatre, acting, singing and serving in service organizations and boards.
When asked why he serves here at Element Church, Kevin said, “It is humbling to me to realize that God doesn’t need our help but he allows us to help him in the world. Element church has been a place where I have felt challenged to live out the service that Jesus showed us by utilizing the gifts that have been given me. I love the people of Element church because of the servant’s heart that is so prevalent here. Ultimately the blessing that comes from serving is the community of people you get to work beside. I feel like the people on the worship team are a part of my family who I can count on when I need them.”
Kevin, I don’t know where we’d be today without you and your families commitment and service. You’ve been with us from the beginning! It is an absolute honor to have you on the team and highlight you as the volunteer of the week! What you do MATTERS!
