Hey Element Church! Meet Riddick, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Riddick was nominated by Taylor, our Lead Producer who said this: “Riddick has been a great team member for a long time now. He is my primary trainer on Thursday night rehearsals and he is learning and excelling at even the most difficult positions on the Production team. Riddick is incredible, reliable, and is a great team player. He has been a huge part of our growth over the last 5-6 months.”
Riddick has been attending Element Church for 5 years. He is a student at McCormick Junior H.S. and he enjoys dancing (he takes Jazz and Ballet), youth group, and playing video games.
When asked why he serves at Element, Riddick said, “I serve at Element Church because I realize that it’s important to be a part of the church and make a difference in the community around us. I also serve because I see that when people go to our church it may be the only time they ever go, so it’s important to make sure that it is the best service they have ever been to, and that they get forgiven. Because if we can’t help them this might even be the last day they are alive and they can’t go to heaven because they were not forgiven because of the service. I feel that everyone should serve to the best of their ability because of this so we can save lives and make a difference in our community.”
Riddick, you are awesome! Thank you so much for your heart to serve and your heart to see people put their faith in Jesus. Every person who says “Yes” to Jesus, you are a partner in that. What you do MATTERS!
