Element Church: Live Q & A

Over the last five weeks at Element Church we have been in a series called “#Single: Finding fulfillment no matter your relationship status.” In the series, we’ve talked about singleness, marriage, divorce and how our sexuality plays into all of that. Now we’re going to answer questions.

This coming Sunday, November 17th, we are taking the entire sermon portion of the service to answer your questions. If there is something I didn’t cover in the series or if you need clarity on something I said, now is your time to ask. We’ll have a way to anonymously ask questions live using the web platform Slido. My wife will be joining me on the platform and I’ll answer as many questions as I can from each service in the time allotted.

The whole premise of our series has been this: Movies, books, music, and even the Church have consistently taught that the key to being fulfilled relationally is to “find the one”. That somehow it’s a bad thing to be single. Marriage, or at least a committed relationship, is often made the ultimate goal in life. While marriage is a beautiful gift from God, it alone is empty and vain. Even if you’re married, the key to fulfillment is not found in your spouse, it’s found in remaining #Single…that is, single-focused. Until I have a single focus in this life, I’ll never be satisfied fully with this life. Each of us should desire to be #Single!

There are three opportunities to worship with us and ask your questions. 9:00 AM // 11:00 AM // 6:00 PM.
