Have you ever been unsure of when to start something new? Well, in episodes 1 and 2 of the Infuse Leadership Podcast we talk about just that. In part 1 of this 2 part podcast, we started talking through six things you need to know before you start something new. By the time we were done with part 1 we had added an additional thing making it 7 total signs that you should start something new. On the podcast we talk more in detail about each of these things but here are the last 3 signs that you should start something new. You an read about the first 4 HERE.
4. Competency — Not everyone who is called to full time ministry is called to preach. There is a certain level of competency needed to start anything new. The Scripture tells us that David led with a “true heart AND skillful hands.”

5. Coaching — You need someone who has gone before you to help carry the burden with you. In the Podcast I tell the story about how my coach literally kept me from quitting Element Church before we ever got started.

6. Confidence — Confidence comes from the fact that you know you are called by God. God confirmed it through His Word and through His people. You are committed to it no matter what the cost. You have the gifts and graces for whatever it is you are starting. You’ve received coaching and have a mentor to walk with you. As God told Gideon, “Now go in the strength you have.” If all those are in place, the results aren’t up to you, they are up to God.
