Hey Element Church! Meet Alyscia, this week’s Volunteer Of The Week. Alyscia was nominated by Kristina, one of our Pastoral and front office Assistants, who said this: “Alyscia serves as a leader for one of the 6pm Hospitality teams. She is never without a smile on her face and has such a great attitude. When it comes to volunteering, she is the essence of dependability. Alyscia always takes time for others as I witness her stopping to talk with someone, answer questions and gives them her full attention. Thank you, Alyscia, for bringing joy to others through serving!”
Alyscia has been attending Element Church for almost 2 years with her husband, Mark, who also serves on the Parking Team. She is a Force Support in the Air Force (helps to ensure the Total Force is equipped with the necessary support/requirements to be mission-ready) and loves exploring and traveling to new places. She also enjoys hiking and spending time outside, is a huge “foodie,” and loves the California Golden State Warriors & SF 49ers.
When asked why she serves at Element, she said this, “Since the first day I walked into Element, all the staff and volunteers serving made me feel so welcomed and LOVED by Christ! Now as I serve, I get so much joy and fulfillment being able to know I have a part in providing the same positive environment for everyone in our community to experience God’s love.”
