Hey Element Church, meet Stacy! Stacy serves on our hospitality team and she is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week.
Pastor Andy said this about Stacy’s service to God: “Stacy serves faithfully on our Hospitality Team doing quite possibly the most important job in the church…brewing coffee! Stacy doesn’t hesitate to come in at 7am on Sunday mornings to serve, she’s a rockstar!” (I agree with the coffee comment!)
Stacy, her husband and their 3 kids have been attending Element since August of 2015. She manages a property maintenance and home repairs company and enjoys cooking and walking. When asked why she serves at Element she said: “I started serving at Element Church to be a part of the community and to meet new people since we had just moved from Wisconsin. I enjoy making sure our guests feel welcome (and awake) and that our volunteers and their families feel appreciated. I never thought I would find so much joy in making coffee and keeping the donuts full, but I have. I honestly feel as though I receive more from serving than I give, just from the joy I experience each Sunday I am volunteering. I am so blessed that my family has found a church that really exhibits the heart of God. It truly makes getting up early to volunteer a lot easier for all of us.”
