Element Church: Volunteer Of The Week

Hey Element Church! Meet Lesley, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Lesley was nominated by Andy, our Associate Pastor of Assimilation who said: “Lesley actually serves in our kids ministry on staff at Element. On top of that, she leads two small groups; leading these groups is something she does as a volunteer at Element. Lesley has been leading a “Fearless Mom’s” group at Element for a couple seasons now, and it has been a great blessing to the mom’s that are a part of it.”

Lesley has attended Element since the spring of 2010. Her husband George, and 3 kids Ethan, Matthew, and Mariah all attend and serve at as well. Lesley is the Children’s Ministry Preschool Director here at Element and she enjoys searching for treasures at Antique shops, Gardening, working in her yard, and spending time with friends.

When asked why she serves here at Element, Lesley said, “Children and families have always been my passion. I have led a few groups in the past, but when I was introduced to the Fearless Mom ministry, I knew that I needed to share it with our families here. Because I am passionate about children, I am equally passionate about equipping parents to be a part of building their child’s foundation in their faith. The best part of leading this group is seeing the lasting impact that it is having on families for the Kingdom, and witnessing the inspiring life change in the lives of parents and children.”

Lesley, thank you so much for your service on staff, but also as a volunteer! Leading a group is helping us live out our vision. Not only is your group a place for people to connect but you are making a lasting impact. What you do MATTERS!
