Hey Element Church! Meet Buddy. Buddy is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week! Buddy has an amazing story of redemption and renewal through Jesus Christ and shares it regularly with people that need to hear it. Buddy finds his identity in Christ and that is an inspiration to so many. We are honored to have Buddy involved in so many areas here.Buddy has been attending Element Church for 6 1/2 years. He and his wife lead a Community Group together and he assists with the parking team, preparing the sermon study notes for community groups and he serves as a Community Group Captain. His daughter and son-in-law drive over from Laramie to attend church with us and his other daughter, son in law and their family from Cheyenne attend as well.
Buddy works as an outside salesman for a Caterpillar rental company called Wyoming Rents for 6 years. His hobbies include spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren, reading, and cheering on the Denver Broncos, Michigan Wolverines and the Wyoming Cowboys.
When asked why he serves at Element, Buddy said: “I have come to realize that all of us are broken and we all have wounds and scars. Some just hide it better than others. Serving at Element Church helps me to reach out to people that have stumbled and made mistakes and simply want to rebuild and restore their life. Serving provides me to connect with people where they are and help lead them to where Christ wants them to be. Serving helps me give people hope.”
