Hey Element Church! Meet Stephen, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Stephen was nominated by John, our Children’s Pastor who said this: “Stephen does an excellent job leading, teaching, and loving our kids in the Ignite classroom. He volunteers in multiple services because of his dedication to showing our children the love of Jesus. Stephen genuinely cares about how people are doing, and I’ve seen him pour into not just the kids but parents and other volunteers also. I am grateful the Ignite classroom has such a godly example to learn from and follow. Thanks for all you do, Stephen!”
Stephen has attended Element Church with his family for a year. He does Formal Training Instruction in the United States Air Force and enjoys Music, Ignite, Video Games, Working Out, Football, Boxing, cooking and spending time with his family.
When asked why he serves here at Element, Stephen said, “Serving in E:KIDZ has been the most fulfilling experience I’ve ever had. Knowing that I am doing God’s will by bringing these children closer to him makes me happy. Also, each child has a story. As adults, we forget at times that the trial and tribulations of life often happen at the earlier stages of life. As an E:KIDZ teacher, I want to ensure that the children know I love them and will always be there for them, no matter what the situation is.”
Stephen, thank you so much for showing the love of Christ to our kids. You are an incredible example of His love, mercy, grace, and compassion. You are truly making a lasting impact. What you do MATTERS!
