Hey Element Church! Meet Andy, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Andy was nominated by Steve, our Outreach Pastor, who said this: “He has a tremendous heart for people and loves to serve. He is very active on our Prayer Team at the church and does an amazing job praying for people when they are in need.
Andy also leads the Men in Leadership group on Wednesday nights and does an incredible job leading guys in their pursuit of Jesus. He and his sons also help with OneReach the Homeless Ministry that was started through Element Church. Just about anywhere you look on any given Sunday morning you will see this man helping someone in some capacity. I am very grateful to him for what he has given to the people of Element and even outside of it.”
Andy has been attending Element for 3 years. He has multiple cousins and 2 sons, Jase & Kaden, that attend Element as well. His boys help him serve for OneReach as best they can. He is a utility technician for WYDOT and he enjoys hunting with his bow and is an avid bird hunter. Andy also enjoys spending time with his kids and working on projects.
When asked why he serves here at Element, Andy said, “I serve at Element because it’s what Jesus calls us to do. It’s not about our personal self it’s about loving and serving Gods family. I love serving. It makes me feel loved and I get to see smiles from my church family. Meeting new people and helping them walk their faith journey makes me feel wanted, important, and like I’m helping with discipleship.”
