Do I Really Trust Jesus?

The guidance of Jesus is only as great as my willingness to go with Him.

This past Sunday at Element Church, we continued our sermon series called “Who Is Jesus?”  In it, we are walking through Psalm 23 in the Old Testament, which gives us a beautiful depiction of our Lord and provides for us the answer to that question.

Last week, we saw Jesus as our Good Shepherd.  This week, because He is good He is also our guide.  Jesus is our guiding Shepherd.   Jesus invites all of us, no matter who we are, to follow Him.  The invitation is for everyone.  But as I said at the start of this blog:  The guidance of Jesus is only as great as my willingness to go with Him.

One of the biggest things standing in the way of Jesus being our guide and us going with Him is trust.  Do we really trust Jesus?  And how does our Good Shepherd teach us to trust Him?  In the clip below, I talk about this and share an analogy about a shepherd and his wandering sheep that should change the way we view God’s discipline in our lives.  You can watch full sermons HERE.
