Hey Element Church! Meet Josh, this week’s Volunteer Of The Week. Josh was nominated by Brendan, our Youth Pastor who said this: “Josh is a fantastic volunteer in Fusion. What I love about him is the fact that he not only serves on Tuesday nights with our Junior High, but spends time during the week continuing to disciple and help students. It’s incredible to see someone with such a heart for junior high kids.”
Josh has been attending Element Church for 14 months with his wife, Korinn, who also serves in the Fusion youth program. He is self employed as an independent distributor for a health and wellness company and he enjoys working out, hanging out with his family and training middle school/high school athletes.
When asked why he serves at Element Church, Josh said, “I serve at Element church because it’s what I have been called to do. Element is a great way for me to get involved with the church and community to help serve others. As a former athlete I have been called to serve young men and women to help them grow spiritually as well as athletically. Serving people makes me feel great, it makes me feel whole and fulfilled (although those youth students make you feel tired from time to time, ha) Element has been a blessing to me and my family and a great step in the right direction on our spiritual journey. We are building our lives in Cheyenne and we are proud to call Element home and look forward to serving more in the future!”
Josh, thank you so much for your commitment to serving the students here at Element Church. You are making a life-long impact in their lives. What you do MATTERS!
