Black Friday is over, Cyber Monday was yesterday and #GivingTuesday happens today! Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving, inviting individuals to celebrate the holiday season by giving back and creating change in their communities and their world. As I always say, “No one person can do everything, but we can all do something, and if we all do something we can end up accomplishing everything.”
This #GivingTuesday I want to remind you of your opportunity to partner with God’s movement here at Element Church through the So That offering. All gifts to the So That offering will fund the 2018 I Heart Wyoming initiative, as well as a $5,000 donation to the local Salvation Army to help stock their food pantry.
I Heart Wyoming is our way of connecting with and resourcing other churches throughout our state, assisting them as they serve their communities in tangible ways. Our long-term dream is to elevate, expand and reinforce the credibility of God’s Church in all twenty-three counties of Wyoming So That the over 400,000 disconnected people have a Jesus centered place to call “Home” in their community!
We will officially be receiving that offering on Sunday, December 10th, but you can begin giving now all the way through December 31st. You can give online or with your mobile device HERE, or in person at the church.
The So That offering is above and beyond our regular giving here at Element, and I am challenging everyone to simply pray, “God, what do you want to give through me?” Then, when He reveals that gift, be faithful to give it! God will never ask you to give what He is not faithful to provide!
If you make a cash or check donation, please put “So That Offering” in the memo or on the envelope. If you are giving online or through our mobile giving option please use the provided links below, then select “So That – Year End Offering” when you give.
