Hey Element Church! This is Travis and he is this week’s volunteer of the week.
Travis was nominated by our Outreach Pastor, Steve Doolin, who said this: “Travis serves as a leader in the OneReach Men’s group. He serves selflessly every two weeks and has given his leadership, time, and resources to this cause. OneReach continues to seek the lost and serve the least by ministering to the local homeless. We can only do this with people like Travis. I love Travis’ heart and how much he has grown in his faith since joining this group as a member a year and a half ago. God is moving in this man and I can’t wait to see what He is going to do in the future.”
Travis and his family have been attending Element Church for 3 years. He is a security guard and mechanic, and enjoys boating, fishing, hunting, cars and football.
When asked why he serves at Element Travis said: “Serving makes me feel complete, it fills my heart and my soul, it brings me closer to Jesus!”
Travis, we are so thankful that God has brought us people like you who take seriously what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community. Thank you for what you do…IT MATTERS!
