Hey Element Church! Meet Marla. She is this week’s Volunteer Of The Week.
Marla is dedicated, dependable and always willing to lend a helping hand in many different areas of the church! She is a vital part of connecting with First Time Guests and steps in and helps wherever and whenever she is needed in the Office. She is a joy to be around and truly has a servant’s heart.
Marla and her husband Rick have attended Element for about seven years. Marla serves in our Element Church office throughout the week. Marla is a retired elementary teacher who taught kids for 29 years in the Laramie County School District. She loves to travel (especially to baseball parks), and said that her main hobby is their four grandchildren. (Awesome!)
When asked why she serves at Element, Marla said: “I serve at Element Church because I believe God has called us to give back unselfishly, and because I am grateful for His unending love and grace. Helping others is a passion for me and I feel blessed to serve Jesus.”
