Hey Element Church! Meet Elizabeth, this week’s Volunteer of the week. Elizabeth was nominated by Kristina, one of our Pastoral Assistants, who said this, “Liz serves as a leader for one of the 6pm Hospitality teams. Liz is a hard worker and an amazing volunteer. She is someone that I can always count on and feel blessed to have her be part of the First Impressions team. She always has a smile on her face and you can tell she finds joy in talking to anyone around her. Thank you, Liz, for being an awesome example of a servant leader!”
Elizabeth has been attending Element Church for 5 years with her husband, Shawn, who serves on the usher team and her daughter, Halie, who helps on the hospitality team. Her oldest daughter, Jennifer, son, Sebastian and grandson, Ayden, also attend Element. Elizabeth works as a security officer and enjoys scrapbooking and going to the gym to workout.
When asked why she serves here at Element, she said: “I serve at Element because Jesus wants us to be a servant for him. When I serve at the church, I feel I’m doing something for the body of Christ. I’m a people person so I hope I can be a shining light for him!”
